Compare it to homes in the area that are not new builds and see what you can get from the new build that you might not get from an older property.
You can also look at how you can add value to the property – adding an extension or a loft conversion may mean that you will be able to get more from your home in the future and also when the time comes to sell it, it will make it more attractive to any potential buyers – the aim with a new build property is to think long term.
