Running since 1888 makes this event the oldest rodeo in the world. The main attraction is the Cowboy Capital Bull Riding but you’ll also discover huge parades, arts and craft shows, rodeo royalty pageant and loads of other family fun activities.
#4 Dodge City Days, Kansas, USA
A slightly newer addition to the rodeo calendar, Dodge City Days began in 1960 and lasts for a whopping 10 days. You’ll find a rodeo show, craft fairs, concerts, parades and a golf tournament. Everyone will love the High Noon Gunfight and there’s plenty of events for the kids too.
#5 Greeley Stampede, Colorado, USA
What started as a tribute to potato farmers has now become a huge and exciting rodeo festival. Displays include Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Monster Trucks and the Demolition Derby. The event also caters for the kids with a special rodeo for little cowboys and girls.
#6 Cheyenne Frontier Days, Wyoming, USA

This is the ultimate for cowboys and girls who have been competing to get through to the final showdown. Only 15 will have qualified to get to this stage and the action takes place over 10 days of heated competition. There is no festival or livestock, just pure rodeo expertise on show. This is the event to attend for no other distraction and to see the ultimate champion crowned king or queen of rodeo.
